Section
1:
Anti-Discrimination Policy:
a)
The club shall not discriminate or deny membership to any
university student or respective member on the basis of age, sex,
race, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation,
disability, political persuasion, or religion.
Section
2:
Eligibility:
a)
Any regularly enrolled student of the University of Illinois,
Parkland College, or member of the community showing sufficient
interest in the sport of rodeo and club activities is eligible for
membership.
Section
3:
Active Membership:
a)
Prospective members shall achieve active member status by:
i)
paying yearly membership dues
ii)
completing the club membership form and waiver of liability
form
iii)
attending a minimum of two business meetings
b)
Active members shall be entitled to full active member
benefits
c)
Only active members shall be allowed to vote in club
elections, run for club office, and vote on general policy i.e.)
appropriations, activities, etc
Section
4:
Dues:
a)
Yearly membership dues for the new and old members shall be
set by the Executive Board prior to the first business meeting of
the year.
b)
Dues must be paid to receive Active Member benefits.
c)
Upon payment of dues member shall be entitled to:
i)
Pizza at business meetings
ii)
The right to purchase club merchandise at club cost
iii)
Use of club practice and rodeo equipment

5:
Benefits:
a)
Full Active Member Benefits include:
i)
Voting privileges, pizza at business meetings, use of club
equipment, and the right to purchase club merchandise at cost.
b)
Non-Active, dues paid members benefits include all active
member benefits excluding voting privileges
