Third Business Meeting of the Year |

- Meeting called to order
Icebreaker and intros of new members/visitors
- President
(Cody):
- Thanks
to all who worked at Gordyville. We made some money and
parking went well.
- Cody
is practicing on Wednesday nights and could practice on
weekends as well. Contact him if you are interested.
- VP-External
(Kinsey):
- We
will be having a booth at ExploreACES. The dates should
be March 6 and 7. The public comes around and we will
have a display showing what the club does. More info
later.
- On
November 12, from 11:00-3:00, IlliDell will be having a
blood drive at the YMCA on campus. Please show up to
donate blood.
- We
will be chalking the Quad before the next Business
Meeting to help promote the club and advertise. Please
help.
- VP-Internal
(Tyler):
- A
trip is planned to Louisville for November 8th-10th.
Contact Tyler if you want to go.
- PBR
will be in St. Louis the last weekend in February. We've
one for the last two years so start thinking about going
now.
- Special
Events Coordinator (Andy):
- In
April the club will be hosting its annual rodeo. It
takes about $20,000 to put on the rodeo so we need
sponsors. Please sell sponsor packets. Go anywhere you
can. Packets can be downloaded from the club website.
Take others with you if you don't want to go alone or
haven't done it before. If you sell over $500 the club
will pay for your shirt. You can refer potential
sponsors to the website for more information and
contacts. Officer contact info is also on the website if
you have any questions.
- Treasurer
(Amanda):
- Dues
are $20 for the year. Pay them now if you want to vote
and pay lower prices on club merchandise.
- Rodeo
Club is buying a ¼ page in the yearbook. We will use
the picture from last year.
- Historians:
- We
need pictures from events so please share anything you
have.
- Miscellaneous:
- The
next Business Meeting will be on December 6, at 8:00
p.m. in the Stock Pavilion.
